Run italian vodafone mobile broadband stick on Ubuntu 12.04:

0) Insert Stick
1) Click on network connections icon and select “New Mobile Broadband Connection”
2) Select Country „Italy“ in Preferences
3) Select Provider „Vodafone“
4) Add the Vodafone APN: web.omnitel.it
5) Done
